In front of the crowded crowds, the final of the 2021–2022 hockey Erste Liga Ice Hockey at the Lajos Vákár Ice Rink in Miercurea Ciuc started on Friday night: the Csíkszereda Sports Club and Ferencváros started the duel in Szeklerland until the fourth success of one of the teams. Before the meeting, the two teams and the whole hall sang the Hungarian and then the Szekler anthem together.

Most of the spectators were domestic printers, but there was also a small group of Franciscan fans who encouraged their favorites all along.

The first half of the match caused a fierce clash in the first half of the match, in the first half the game was stopped due to a Bohunicky – Lapenkov wrestling, then in the 15th minute the defender of the home team, Alpár Salló, was seriously injured and lost consciousness. was transported to the hospital by ambulance (the case of serious injury can be reviewed here).

Interestingly, although there was bloodshed during the collision, the Hungarian referees did not impose a penalty.

After 18 minutes, the home team was awarded a penalty. Cody Fowlie was the scorer. 0 - 1 was the score. A minute later, Rasmus Kulmala jumped out of the defenders of the Sports Club and only shot the puck into the net against goalkeeper Attila Adorján (0-2).

In the second quarter, several Csíki man advantage was left unused, but the more attacking Csíki team managed to beautify, David Stach defeated Gergely Arany, the goalkeeper of Fradi, in the 33rd minute (1-2).

The third part of the game started very badly for the Hungarians, taking advantage of defensive errors, Fradi scored three goals in five minutes: Károly Bán scored from Ziccer, then Gergő Tóth increased the difference.

The final result was set by Attila Pavuk from human advantage (1–5). After the fifth goal, the goalkeeper was replaced by the home team, Attila Adorján was replaced by Maksim Samankov. In the remaining minutes, the game became slower, the match was uneventful, it felt like both teams were already thinking about the next clash.

It was a lot of pressure for the FTC to neutralize the otherwise very well-functioning game in Csík. Out of seven human advantages, the Sports Club did not score a single goal. Fradi had four human advantages and scored one goal.

The final will continue in the early afternoon on Saturday at an unusual time, the second match will start at 2.30 pm at the Lajos Vákár Ice Rink.
